Our four highly skilled on site goldsmiths, with over 50 years experience, can alter and repair all types of jewellery. With our state of the art laser welder, even the most delicate antique or stone set piece can now be repaired. Most jobs are completed within one week, but can be ready for you sooner if necessary.
Basic repairs are carried out in house, but watches and clocks are collected fortnightly where servicing and parts are needed. Our watchmaker, a director of the British Watch and Clockmakers Guild, has huge experience in servicing all types of mechanical and quartz clocks, will fit replacement parts and even handmake obsolete parts by hand when necessary.
Our two jewellery valuers have over 40 years experience. Full detailed descriptions of all items are typed onto insurance approved certificates, with photographs included if required.
We will buy all types of gold and silver items, in any condition. Broken jewellery can be melted down and made into something for you in our workshop, or generous credit given as part-exchange against new items. We have a large selection of previously owned antique and modern jewellery for sale, at about half the new purchase price.
Beads and pearls are stung onto silk, elastic or nylon-coated braided steel on the premises. We keep in stock a good selection of gold and silver replacement clasps and offer a one-week turnaround on most jobs.
Ear and nose piercing using the safe and gentle "Studex" system can be made using polished or champagne titanium or 14 carat gold. Our fully trained and licensed piercers are well experienced and very friendly too!!
